Barbara my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I have such fond memories of Jack every time I stopped by to say hello. He always had a smile on his face and a big hug for me. I guess he and my Mom are fishing and crabbing together! Sending you a big hug from California. Donna and Andrew xoxo

My deepest sympathy to the entire Sexton family on your loss. I worked with Jack many years at Savannah Electric. We shared many 'exciting times' at the Riverside power plant as he was the first person I reported to with the company in 1977. He was very proud of his family and spoke of them often. Cherish your fond memories as I am sure he will be sadly missed. I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him.

I worked for SEPCO for 40 years and met Jack several times as I did work for the Engineering Department at the plant. I am an adult leader in the Boy Scouts and have been for many years, and, did not know Jack was an Eagle Scout-that in itself speaks volumes for the man. The leadership that he exhibited and the professionalism that he used as he went about his daily tasks were evident. May I express my personal condolences for your lost, as well as condolences from the Boy Scouting community in your time of grief.

Mr. Sexton was a good kind sole. Of course growing up across the street on the Isle of Armstrong, he was part of my childhood memories. I can still hear him calling for George and Roy to come to supper...not dinner, but supper. I remember riding to baseball practices and games. I also recall when all the fathers gathered together to rebuild the community dock...Good Times. George, Roy, John, and Tommy, I know you guys will miss your great father, but I'm sure you have many great memories to keep him alive in your hearts for many years.

For the first time in my life, I became a man yesterday. I lost the best friend I will ever have. But, I know my purpose in life now; that is to keep the promise to my father that Momma will never need or want for anything for the rest of her life. Goodbye, Daddy, I have always loved you, and I always will. Please wait for us at the Gates of Heaven. Your loving son, Tommy.
